About the Bears
About The Bears, 2009-2010 ...
The Bridgewater Bears Hockey Club ("BBHC") is a New Jersey-based, non-profit (501c3), travel youth ice hockey organization. The Bears are members of the New Jersey Youth Hockey League (NJYHL) www.NJYHL.org and skate out of The Bridgewater Sports Arena Bridgewater, New Jersey. BSA is the proud home of The Bridgewater Bears!
For the 2009-2010 season, The Bears will skate a total of 18-teams at the Mite, Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget 16-18 levels in Tier II AA, A, B.
Nearly 300 players will skate for The Bears this year from communities all over the state of New Jersey.
The Bears are a volunteer organization with a volunteer Board of Directors dedicated to the development of youth hockey.
Team work, fair play and sportsmanship are taught by qualified and dedicated coaches and club officers. Our four primary objectives are as follows:
1. Have fun playing hockey.
2. Maximize the individual potential of each player.
3. Develop a strong sense of "Team" and winning spirit.
4. Encourage respect for others and develop good sportsmanship
